5. The Basset must have fresh water served at the temperature of choice at all times.
a) This includes ICE as desired... if the Basset wants ICE...(s)he will have it present in the water at all times.

6. The basset must have access to good rompin' grounds.
7. The Basset must have access to all the most comfortable furniure.
a) All comfortable furniture that is too tall for the Basset to reach must have a safety ramp installed.

8. The Basset must NEVER want for BELLY RUBS.
9. The Basset does not like rain. thus, there will be an outdoor facility built with easy access and shelter from the elements, for his(her) convience and relief.
10. The Basset is a pack animal, thus
(s)he will allow his(her) people space on his(her) bed for the humans to curl up at his(her) feet.
11. All food must pass inspection of the Basset.
12. All white boxes from restaurants belong to the Basset.
